Hello Freedom Seekers!

I am super stoked to share with you that I am launching the Buying Freedom Community. This is a $49/month community for burnt-out professionals who are serious about acquiring a small business. No gurus, no theory. Just real people doing the work, vetted partners, weekly office hours, resources, templates, and someone (me + advisors to come) who have been and are in the arena.

I have spent the past month talking to 50+ searchers to build an offering that is actually value-add. In addition to the shameless plug, I thought it would be cool to share the insights I gathered and highlight how this community is being built with the customer (aka you if you decide to join) as the CEO.

I’m offering a 7 day free trial and a free 1:1 30 min strategy call with myself for anyone who joins. So at a bare minimum, there’s no reason not to join, leverage me on a 1:1, join a group call, and then bounce without paying a dime if you don’t think it’s for you. Enough of the plug, let’s dive in.

Observations:

1/ Everyone is experiencing information overload

I think this was my primary push to launch a community as opposed to a course. There is SO much information out there right now.

Did you know 90% of the world’s information was generated in the last two years? It’s crazy!

I personally struggle with this a ton…there are at least 100 YouTube series on anything you could ever want to learn. At first glance, this is extremely helpful & awesome! However, I think it creates this constant feeling of needing to do more & optimize, while also not actually executing anything we’ve already learned (because there is always more to learn).

Searchers are overwhelmed by the amount of:

  • Voices & opinions in the space

  • AI tools & automations

  • Sourcing methodologies

  • Decisions of what to pay for vs what not to pay for

  • Different business models & acquisition criteria to pursue

Solution? The Buying Freedom community will be your one stop shop for all things ETA. We will leverage the amount of free information not compete against it. As a community we will recommend and share our tribal knowledge of what is worth your time and money or not based on actual experience.
